The University hosted its annual Learning, Teaching & Research Conference recently at Paisley Campus.

     The conference ‘Bridging Boundaries: Connecting Learning, Teaching & Research’ was attended by over 200 delegates across both days – Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th June, and saw over 200 delegates from across academia and industry in attendance, focused on four research themes: research-based learning in practice; integrating work and enterprise into the curriculum; digital futures for education; and state-of-the-art research tackling global health, society and sustainability challenges.

     Keynote speakers at the conference included award-winning academic, Professor Jonathan A.J. Wilson and Dr Susie Mitchell, Programme Director for Glasgow City of Science and Innovation (GCOSI). GCOSI identifies and promotes Glasgow and the West of Scotland’s world-class research excellence to attract talent, investment and collaboration opportunities.
