ECSS 2024 takes place in Glasgow, ranked the world’s 5th ultimate sporting city^ and builds on the city’s extensive experience in hosting major international sporting events.  


Our Congress on the theme of Enhancing Health, Performance and Community Sport will showcase the ground-breaking work being undertaken globally in sport and exercise science and sports medicine, providing a platform for practitioners, researchers, academics, medics and students to network and share expertise.

A diverse range of presentations and insight sessions will be on offer, and our vibrant and engaging social and cultural programme will highlight the hospitality that Glasgow is renowned for. And, of course, you will have the opportunity to take part in the Bengt ltine Memorial 5k run.
