Glasgow Cathedral
The first stone built Glasgow Cathedral was dedicated in the presence of King David I in 1136. The present building was consecrated in 1197. Since that same period the Cathedral has never been unroofed and the worship of God has been carried out within its walls for more than 800 years.

Chinese Lantern Exhibition (Edinburgh Zoo)
This winter, RZSS Edinburgh Zoo will be home to The Giant Lanterns of China, an installation of over 450 dazzling giant lanterns that will illuminate the Zoo for 50 awe-inspiring nights. You will see colossal Chinese lanterns, such as the dragon, temple and zodiac signs, alongside over 200 animal themed lanterns including giant pandas, lions and penguins.
