The University of the West of Scotland (UWS) is launching an exciting new initiative to provide social work placement opportunities for students from the People’s Republic of China.UWS has delivered social work education for more than 40 years. We offer placements across a range of voluntary sector settings, including mental health, substance misuse,and community development.

Placement experiences can bedesigned around the needs andinterests of each student. Students will be supported throughout by expert staff from the university and their placement organisation, and will have the opportunity to learn more about social work in Scotland.

This is an ideal opportunity for social work and health students to build new networks, develop language skills and gain experience of life and work in another culture.
