Professor Jeanne Keay, Vice-Principal & Pro Vice-Chancellor (International), and The International Centre hosted a successful International Day for UWS staff on Friday 22nd January 2016.

Approximately 150 staff from across the University were involved in the event.  Professor Craig Mahoney, Principal and Vice-Chancellor, delivered the keynote opening address on the University’s international agenda.  The delegates then had a choice of 11 workshops throughout the day focussing on the key international themes of:

Staff and Student Mobility
Research
TNE
The Student (cultural awareness, their journey and opportunities)

Brenda McMahon, Director of the International Centre, closed the event with a presentation on 2016 trends in the international landscape.
